Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for legislative committees
- Coordinate with 15+ state agencies and community stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership
- Monitor emerging policy trends and best practices nationwide
- Lead cross-functional task forces on public health initiatives
- Manage $2M+ grant programs for community development projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS/R/Python)
- Proven experience with Georgia state budget processes
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Clear background check and citizenship verification
- Professional certification in Policy Analysis (PPA or equivalent)
