Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft actionable recommendations for state programs
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using Medicaid, SNAP, and workforce data
- Coordinate with legislative stakeholders and community partners
- Develop implementation plans for federal/state initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Mentor junior analysts and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Social Work, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated success in Medicaid/Medicare program evaluation
- Expert knowledge of Illinois state budget processes
- Illinois residency required
