Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations for state legislative initiatives
- Analyze complex healthcare data to identify emerging public health trends
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement federal/state compliance programs
- Present policy briefings to senior leadership and legislative committees
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Lead community outreach initiatives across Chicago's diverse neighborhoods
- Monitor federal Medicaid and ACA regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in healthcare data analysis (SPSS/SAS required)
- Proven track record of drafting successful legislation or regulations
- Illinois residency required (within 90 days of hire)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience with CMS 1500 and HIPAA compliance protocols
