Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to public health emergencies during weekend shifts
- Coordinate immunization clinics and health screenings across Illinois communities
- Maintain accurate health data records using state-of-the-art systems
- Conduct community outreach and education programs on weekends
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless health service delivery
- Prepare weekend shift reports for department leadership review
- Support disaster response operations as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field
- Minimum 2 years public sector or healthcare experience
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and health information systems
- Certified in CPR and First Aid (or obtain within 30 days)
- Spanish fluency preferred (bilingual candidates encouraged)
- Background clearance for state government employment
