Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulations to assess socioeconomic impacts
- Develop policy recommendations through quantitative research and stakeholder engagement
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives across 62 counties
- Prepare executive briefings and legislative testimony for state leadership
- Monitor federal policy trends and advise on state alignment opportunities
- Manage policy implementation metrics and continuous improvement frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field (Bachelor's with 5+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 4 years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and statistical analysis
- Proven track record of developing actionable policy recommendations
- Experience with NY State legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional written communication with published policy papers
- Valid NYS driver's license
