Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex public policy issues affecting Franklin County residents
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for county leadership
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for government committees
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to implement policy changes
- Monitor legislative developments and assess local impact
- Engage with community stakeholders through virtual and in-person forums
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, R)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with public budgeting processes
- Knowledge of Ohio state and federal regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
