Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and draft recommendations for city council
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives with community groups and industry partners
- Develop data-driven policy briefs and implementation strategies
- Monitor federal/state legislation impacts on local governance
- Manage interdepartmental projects with $2M+ budgets
- Present findings to public officials and community boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public sector policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis and data visualization
- Proven record in developing equitable policy frameworks
- Valid Oregon driver's license
- Knowledge of Portland's unique governance landscape
