Responsibilities
- Research and analyze local, state, and federal policies affecting metropolitan Indianapolis
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations aligned with strategic goals
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for government officials and stakeholders
- Coordinate interdepartmental policy implementation initiatives
- Monitor policy effectiveness and recommend adjustments based on data
- Represent the agency in public forums and legislative hearings
- Maintain compliance with government regulations and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools
- Expertise in policy research methodologies and stakeholder engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Indiana state government operations
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
