Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy analyses and recommendations for state legislative initiatives
- Conduct high-stakes research on social equity, healthcare, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces to implement urgent policy directives
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership teams
- Manage stakeholder engagement with community organizations and industry partners

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sectors
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data visualization
- Proven track record of successful legislative advocacy and stakeholder management
- Deep understanding of California state government operations and budget processes
- Ability to deliver urgent deliverables under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Active California State Government security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
