Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate complex state policies using quantitative analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on urgent public health and infrastructure initiatives
- Prepare executive briefings and legislative testimony for state leadership
- Oversee implementation of $50M+ grant programs with rigorous compliance monitoring
- Design data-driven solutions for emerging challenges in climate resilience and digital governance
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining rigorous quality control standards
- Represent the state at national policy forums and intergovernmental conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government or regulated sectors
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS) and GIS tools
- Demonstrated success in managing high-stakes legislative processes
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
