Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive policy research and analysis for emerging public health issues
- Draft legislative proposals and administrative rule modifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement health initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Monitor federal and state regulatory changes affecting public health
- Manage stakeholder engagement across government and community sectors
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations using quantitative/qualitative methods
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Health, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare
- Expertise in Texas legislative process and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, or Stata)
- Demonstrated success in developing actionable policy recommendations
- Valid Texas driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Experience with public health crisis response protocols
