Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods for 5+ key state initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement with city officials, community leaders, and industry partners
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for governor's office
- Manage project timelines for urgent policy implementation across metro Atlanta
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership teams
- Monitor federal/state regulatory changes affecting Georgia's urban development
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate interdepartmental task forces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years analyzing state/local government policies with Atlanta metro focus
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS/R) and policy modeling tools
- Proven track record presenting to legislative bodies and executive leadership
- Deep knowledge of Georgia's regulatory framework and urban development challenges
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Experience managing urgent policy implementation with tight deadlines
- Strong network with Atlanta's civic and government stakeholders
