Responsibilities
- Lead the research and analysis of complex policy issues, providing evidence-based recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare high-quality policy papers, briefings, and presentations for ministers and executive stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure policy coherence.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented policies, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Manage stakeholder relations, including attending meetings and representing the department at public forums.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public policy, government affairs, or a related field.
- Undergraduate degree in Public Administration, Politics, Law, Economics, or a related subject (Masterβs degree preferred).
- Deep understanding of the UK policy-making process and government structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write for diverse audiences.
- Current eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work) and willingness to undergo security clearance checks.
