Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with CDC and Michigan Department of Health guidelines
- Oversee emergency preparedness responses and pandemic management protocols
- Manage a $5M+ budget for health programs and grant-funded initiatives
- Lead community outreach initiatives targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and resource allocation needs
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Supervise 15+ public health specialists and program coordinators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health administration experience
- Proven success managing multi-million dollar health programs
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and culturally competent programming
- Strong quantitative data analysis and reporting capabilities
- Experience with emergency health response coordination
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-sector public health initiatives
