Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies for Mecklenburg County
- Manage $2M+ annual grant portfolio and compliance reporting
- Coordinate pandemic response and disaster preparedness initiatives
- Lead cross-departmental health equity coalitions
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy decisions
- Serve as primary liaison with local healthcare providers
- Oversee 15+ public health program staff
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of public health program management experience
- NC Public Health Administrator certification required
- Expertise in grant management and federal compliance (HRSA/CDC)
- Strong data analysis skills with Tableau/Excel proficiency
- Experience leading multi-agency emergency response teams
- Valid NC driver's license
