Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Tulsa County's priority health needs
- Oversee departmental budget allocation ($2M+ annual) and ensure fiscal compliance
- Lead crisis response initiatives for public health emergencies and disease outbreaks
- Coordinate with state health agencies and community stakeholders to align health initiatives
- Manage team of 15+ professionals through performance evaluations and strategic planning
- Analyze health data to identify trends and inform policy recommendations
- Secure grant funding and manage public health grant portfolios
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years progressive public health leadership experience
- Current Oklahoma Public Health Administrator certification required
- Proven expertise in grant writing and federal/state compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Advanced data analytics skills with health information systems
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $1M
- Knowledge of tribal health collaboration protocols
