Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting community wellness initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy decisions and resource allocation
- Coordinate with local government agencies and community stakeholders
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams in emergency response planning and execution
- Conduct public health outreach and education campaigns
- Prepare detailed reports for state leadership and legislative bodies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health or government administration
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
