Responsibilities
- Design and conduct epidemiological studies to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Develop comprehensive health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze complex health datasets using statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Prepare detailed reports and policy briefs for government stakeholders
- Coordinate with community organizations to implement public health initiatives
- Monitor compliance with federal and state public health regulations
- Lead grant writing and budget management for health programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or research
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of CDC and Tennessee Department of Health protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
- Experience with health equity initiatives preferred
