Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop and implement evidence-based health programs for vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with state agencies and community partners on health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative stakeholders
- Monitor program effectiveness using KPIs and recommend strategic improvements
- Secure and manage federal grant funding for public health projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Demonstrated experience with health data systems (NC DETECT, NC Health Data Portal)
- Strong grant writing and federal funding acquisition experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
