Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive epidemiological studies to identify community health trends
- Develop evidence-based public health policies and intervention programs
- Analyze large-scale health datasets using statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to implement health education campaigns
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for county commissioners and public officials
- Lead interdepartmental initiatives addressing health equity and social determinants
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health analysis or epidemiological research
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools
- Proven track record of developing evidence-based health policies
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Experience managing public health grants and budgets
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
