Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend interventions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency preparedness and response strategies
- Secure and manage grant funding for health equity initiatives
- Present findings to policymakers and community stakeholders
- Supervise junior staff and interns in program execution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government/public health administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
