Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention strategies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and outbreaks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency preparedness planning
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives to improve health equity
- Maintain accurate public health surveillance systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health analysis experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid California driver's license
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
- Experience with grant management and compliance
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
