Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and NGOs
- Develop grant proposals to secure federal/state funding for health initiatives
- Conduct community health assessments and prepare actionable reports
- Implement crisis response protocols for public health emergencies
- Advocate for health equity policies at local government hearings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or non-profit public health roles
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience managing federal/state grant-funded projects
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, FERPA, and public health regulations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
