Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Oversee implementation of community health improvement initiatives across Denver metro area
- Manage grant applications, reporting, and compliance for federal/state funding programs
- Develop educational materials and public health campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and nonprofits to enhance service delivery
- Present findings to county commissioners and community stakeholders
- Lead continuous quality improvement processes for public health programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in public health program management or analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and GIS mapping tools
- Experience with grant writing and federal grant management (HRSA/CDC preferred)
- Knowledge of Colorado public health regulations and Title X requirements
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with bilingual Spanish proficiency
- Valid Colorado driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
