Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify emerging trends and inform county-wide health initiatives
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for chronic disease prevention and health equity programs
- Collaborate with community organizations to design culturally responsive outreach strategies
- Manage grant-funded health improvement projects with $2M+ annual budgets
- Present findings to county commissioners and public health stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams implementing public health emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health administration or data analysis
- Proficiency in SAS, R, or SPSS with statistical modeling expertise
- Proven track record in health equity initiatives and community engagement
- Valid Oregon Public Health Practitioner certification
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding compliance (HRSA/CDC)
- Knowledge of Oregon's Title X and Medicaid health programs
