Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify trends and emerging health threats
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention strategies
- Lead community outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Coordinate with state and federal health agencies on compliance initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise research assistants
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or nonprofit public health roles
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Valid Nevada driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting requirements
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable
