Responsibilities
- Design and implement epidemiological studies to track disease patterns and health trends
- Analyze complex health data sets to identify disparities and inform strategic interventions
- Develop public health emergency response protocols and coordinate crisis management
- Lead community health assessment initiatives and stakeholder engagement programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and GIS mapping
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent professional designation
- Demonstrated experience with health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
