Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Develop comprehensive health equity reports for vulnerable populations in Oakland
- Coordinate with community organizations to implement outreach programs
- Present findings to county officials and stakeholder committees
- Manage grant-funded projects related to chronic disease prevention
- Maintain compliance with federal and state health reporting requirements
- Mentor junior analysts and train staff on data visualization tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Knowledge of California public health regulations
- Experience developing community health assessments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
- Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin preferred
