Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological surveillance and outbreak investigation activities
- Develop and implement data-driven public health intervention strategies
- Analyze health trends using advanced statistical methods and GIS mapping
- Coordinate emergency preparedness response protocols with federal partners
- Prepare comprehensive reports for policymakers and community stakeholders
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise data collection initiatives
- Secure grant funding through competitive federal/state applications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive public health analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with health data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and health data regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
