Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Develop and evaluate community health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and maternal/child health
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $500K, ensuring fiscal compliance and reporting
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses including pandemic outbreak protocols
- Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholder committees
- Leverage GIS mapping and statistical software to visualize health disparities
- Supervise junior analysts and interns while maintaining quality assurance standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government/public health sector
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or R for statistical analysis
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with CDC grant management and reporting
- Knowledge of Florida Administrative Code Chapter 64D-3
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Florida driver's license
