Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze complex health data to identify trends and inform policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to coordinate emergency response protocols
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling over $500K annually
- Present findings to city officials and community stakeholders
- Develop health equity frameworks for vulnerable populations
- Oversee compliance with federal/state health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced data analysis proficiency (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid California Public Health certification
- Proven grant management experience
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with community engagement strategies
- Knowledge of CA Title X/Title XIX programs
