Responsibilities
- Analyze complex health data to identify trends and inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Develop and implement strategic health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with state agencies and community stakeholders to coordinate public health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative and executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams in emergency response planning and outbreak management
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Advise on healthcare system improvements and resource allocation optimization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health experience in government or non-profit settings
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing public health programs
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) credential preferred
- Experience with Arizona state grant processes and reporting requirements
