Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify trends, disparities, and emerging health threats
- Design and evaluate public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders and policymakers
- Collaborate with community organizations to implement health education programs
- Lead grant writing and manage program budgets for health initiatives
- Advise on public health policy development and implementation strategies
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with health program evaluation and grant management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data
- Knowledge of Chicago-area health disparities and community resources
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits
