Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop county-wide health emergency response plans
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually for community health programs
- Present findings to county commissioners and stakeholder coalitions using data visualization tools
- Oversee compliance with federal/state health regulations (HIPAA, PHAB standards)
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise public health interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years analyzing population health data using SAS/R/Python
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible within 6 months
- Experience with Colorado's vital records system and Immunization Information Systems
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record for field site visits
