Responsibilities
- Design and implement epidemiological studies to track disease trends and health disparities
- Analyze complex health datasets using SAS/R to inform policy recommendations
- Develop community health improvement plans with stakeholder engagement
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Present findings to public officials and community partners
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SAS/R required)
- Experience with Virginia-specific health reporting systems
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Virginia driver's license
