Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and risks
- Develop evidence-based intervention programs for community health initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations on health education
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and state health agencies
- Manage grant-funded public health projects and ensure compliance with regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergencies
- Present findings to diverse stakeholders including policymakers and the public
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and GIS mapping tools
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
- Certification in Public Health (CPH) preferred
