Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex epidemiological studies using SAS/R/Python
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for Board of Supervisors
- Lead inter-agency task forces addressing health equity initiatives
- Manage $2M+ grant budgets for public health programs
- Present findings to community stakeholders and media
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise field research teams
Qualifications
- Master's in Public Health/Epidemiology with 5+ years experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SAS/R)
- Valid California Public Health Registration
- Demonstrated success in securing federal/state grants
- Experience with health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
