Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive health needs assessments for diverse SF communities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify health disparities and inform policy decisions
- Develop evidence-based interventions for chronic disease prevention and mental health support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency preparedness and response strategies
- Secure and manage public health grants totaling $2M+ annually
- Present findings to city officials and community stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field with 3+ years experience
- Expertise in SAS/R/Python for health data analysis and spatial mapping
- Proven track record developing equity-focused public health policies
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Experience managing federal/state public health grants (HRSA/CDC preferred)
- Knowledge of California Title 22 health regulations
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin strongly preferred
