Responsibilities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify health trends and develop intervention strategies
- Lead community health assessments and prepare comprehensive reports for policy recommendations
- Coordinate emergency preparedness initiatives and public health crisis responses
- Develop educational materials and outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Maintain stakeholder relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Mentor junior staff and supervise data collection processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of California public health codes and Title 22 regulations
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with community engagement methodologies
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
