Responsibilities
- Design and implement data-driven public health strategies targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological trends to inform county-wide health interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations on vaccination and wellness programs
- Develop grant proposals securing $500K+ in annual funding
- Lead cross-departmental committees for emergency response planning
- Present findings to county commissioners and public stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with CDC and Texas DSHS regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in municipal/county public health
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS, R, or SAS for data analysis
- Proven track record in securing government grants
- Experience with community health assessment methodologies
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish)
