Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify emerging trends and develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing community health improvement initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $500,000
- Develop comprehensive health impact assessments for county policy recommendations
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers to coordinate public health responses
- Present findings to elected officials and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health experience in government or non-profit settings
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Proven grant management and budget oversight experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- CHES or CPH certification preferred
