Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify emerging trends and disparities across SF neighborhoods
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards for real-time health surveillance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design evidence-based intervention strategies
- Present findings to senior leadership and community stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Lead epidemiological investigations during public health emergencies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and local data privacy regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years analyzing public health data with proficiency in R/Python and SQL
- Experience with GIS mapping tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) for spatial analysis
- Knowledge of SF's health landscape and social determinants of health
- Ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
- Valid California driver's license (required for field work)
