Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological surveillance and analysis of public health trends across Houston metropolitan area
- Design and implement data-driven health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with local health departments, hospitals, and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for state leadership
- Manage public health emergency response protocols and coordinate resource deployment
- Mentor junior analysts and train public health professionals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health data analysis and program development
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with community health assessment methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with policy experience
- Valid Texas driver's license
