Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data and health trends to inform public health policy recommendations
- Develop and implement community health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with state/federal agencies to secure grant funding for health initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergency response operations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for City Council and public health advisory boards
- Manage departmental health compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for community vaccination initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of public health analysis experience in government/nonprofit setting
- Valid Arizona Public Health Professional certification
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated grant writing success with $500k+ awards
- Experience with CDC/ADHS reporting protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
