Responsibilities
- Lead data analysis for public health initiatives using advanced statistical methods
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for community health programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on grant-funded health equity projects
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and state health agencies
- Manage public health emergency response protocols
- Train staff on health data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Oversee compliance with federal/state health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government public health analysis
- Advanced proficiency in R/Python and SQL
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) credential
- Experience with health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass federal background check
