Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Louisville communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and disease outbreak investigations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations on health initiatives
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend interventions
- Provide health education and outreach to diverse populations
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Stay current with public health policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program experience
- Valid Kentucky Public Health Certification
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills
- Experience with public health surveillance systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with government agencies
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
