Responsibilities
- Design and implement epidemiological studies to identify public health trends and risks
- Analyze complex health data using SAS, R, or Python to inform policy recommendations
- Collaborate with community partners to develop culturally responsive health interventions
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergencies
- Secure grant funding through competitive proposal development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SAS/R/Python)
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Experience with community-based participatory research
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Demonstrated success in translating data into actionable policy
