Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster recovery efforts including healthcare providers and NGOs
- Lead incident command system operations during declared emergencies
- Analyze public health data to inform strategic resource allocation
- Train and deploy emergency response teams across 4,300+ sq miles
- Manage grant-funded emergency preparedness programs
- Conduct post-incident evaluations and process improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 5+ years of crisis management experience in government/public sector
- Incident Command System (ICS) certification (FEMA P-1000)
- Proven track record leading cross-functional emergency response teams
- Advanced data analysis skills with emergency management software
- Strong grant management and budget oversight experience
- Excellent communication skills for high-stress public communications
