Responsibilities
- Develop and execute emergency response plans for public health crises in Minneapolis metropolitan area
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with local hospitals, law enforcement, and FEMA
- Lead crisis communication strategies for diverse communities
- Manage public health data systems and real-time reporting dashboards
- Train and deploy emergency response volunteers across Hennepin County
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvement protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in public health emergency response or disaster management
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification required
- Advanced proficiency in GIS mapping and public health data analytics
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams during crises
- Experience with FEMA NIMS/ICS protocols and federal grant compliance
