As a key member of our epidemiology unit, you'll lead investigations into disease outbreaks, coordinate with healthcare partners, and implement evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations for disease outbreaks and health emergencies
- Analyze complex health data to identify trends and inform intervention strategies

- Prepare urgent reports for state leadership and federal health agencies
- Train junior staff on field investigation protocols and biosecurity measures

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (MPH preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of field epidemiology or public health investigation experience
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, or SPSS)
- Demonstrated crisis management experience in government or healthcare settings
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record
